Join the National Bike Challenge

BikeChallengeLogo-Horizontalnewsflash

You can represent Douglas County in the National Bike Challenge!

The Challenge is a logging center for you to record the miles you ride while competing with other riders all over the country. With competition possibilities on the local, state and national level, it is a free and easy way to challenge yourself, colleagues and the greater community to ride more.

The Challenge runs May 1 through Sept. 30. Locally, the Challenge is being hosted by LiveWell Lawrence, in partnership with the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department. Get motivated to ride to work, the grocery store or even with your family around the neighborhood. Earn 20 points every day you ride at least one mile. No ride is too short!

Register at nationalbikechallenge.com. If your business or organization is interested in being a sponsor for the local Challenge, email cbryan@ldchealth.org.
