Public input sought for county bike plan

Bikepath

Help make Lawrence, Eudora, Baldwin City, Lecompton and Douglas County more bicycle-friendly. The Lawrence – Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is updating the Countywide Bikeway Plan and wants your input. The plan will reconcile the various existing bicycle related plans into one vision for the future of bicycling in Lawrence-Douglas County. Help lay the foundation for work during the next five years to improve bicycling.

Learn about bicycle infrastructure options and share your thoughts. What barriers do we need to overcome to make our region more bicycle-friendly? There are multiple ways to provide input: visit an open house, experience a guided on-street bicycle ride or participate in the survey.
